Your drawer stays yours.

Still Gold Rain does not collect, transmit or sell any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in and no analytics. This page explains what that means in practice, for the app and for this website.

The app

Still Gold Rain (“the app”) is a mineral and gem atlas. Its specimens, measurements, Lab statements and cases are bundled inside the app and read from your device.

  • The app works fully offline. It makes no network requests and contains no third-party services, advertising, analytics or tracking.
  • There is no account and no sign-in. We have no server that receives anything from the app, so we never see what you study or collect.
  • The app does not ask for access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or any other protected data.

What stays on your device

To remember your progress, the app keeps a small amount of data inside its own storage on your device. None of it is uploaded.

This data is stored in the app's own folder and settings on your device. If you back up your iPhone or iPad with iCloud or a computer, that backup may include the app's data, handled by Apple under your own backup settings — we never receive it.

Clearing your data

  • Reset progress in Settings returns study marks, Lab answers, Daily Discoveries and honours to zero. Your drawer, favourites, notes and profile stay.
  • You can change or clear your name at any time in Settings.
  • Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.

Apple and the App Store

Downloads, updates and App Store ratings and reviews are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive your Apple ID or payment details.

If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous statistics such as crash reports and download counts. These do not identify you, and you can turn the option off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

This website

  • No cookies, analytics or trackers. The site is a set of static pages; it does not set cookies or run analytics.
  • Web fonts. To display its typeface, this site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser therefore connects to Google, which receives your IP address and basic browser information. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • The contact form is a demonstration. It shows a confirmation, but what you type is not sent, stored or seen by anyone. To reach us, please email the address below.
  • Hosting. Like most web servers, our hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, time and page requested) for security and reliability. We do not use them to identify visitors.
  • Links to the App Store and other sites lead to pages with their own privacy policies.

When you email us

If you write to post@wanderveil.xyz, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply to you, we never sell or share it, and we delete the conversation when you ask us to.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 — or from anyone else — because it collects no personal information at all.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA give you rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its use. Because the app sends us nothing, everything it holds is already in your hands on your device. For any email you have sent us, contact us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated text will appear on this page with a new effective date, and in the app with its next version.
